Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser Breakdown

Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser Breakdown

The opening sequence of the teaser begins with the Russian War Anthem “The Red Army is The Strongest” playing amongst a snowy railroad. The camera follows the railway being built by a Russian Prison Camp and what is assumed to be the same facility that held Hopper (David Harbour) and a Demogorgon.

The only logical theory drawn up by fans is that possibly the Russian Facility is forcing their prisoners to build a railroad to ship “bio-weapons” (a.k.a Demogorgons).

There is also the face reveal of a familiar face (or faceless), actor Tom Wlaschiha. Tom is better known for his role in Game of Thrones as the character, Jagen H’Ghar. He is playing a Russian Officer overseeing the construction of the Railroad. Blink and you just might miss him!

However, the reveal you cannot miss is that of Hopper (which was not much of a surprise). But what was surprising was Hopper’s buzzcut, showing that he is a prisoner and that his “Chief” days in Hawkins are over (for now).

Lastly, fans are making some wild speculations that Hopper time traveled from the blast inside The Upside Down. With the eluding clock and the slogan “We are not in Hawkins Anymore” in the last frame of the teaser, it is safe to say there could be some backing to that logic.

Guess we will just have to wait and see what this all means. When the full trailer drops and Stranger Things 4 returns on April 3, 2020.
