October Shows Filled With Tricks and Treats

Maid (Netflix) October 1, 2021

Kicking off our list is the drama series ‘Maid’ which is inspired by the New York Times Best-Selling Memoir by Stephanie Land. This story follows a young mother’s (Margaret Qualley) journey of survival and resilience from a life of abuse, homeliness, and poverty to create a better life for her daughter. This will be one series that you’ll want to grab that cozy blanket along with some tissues.

CSI: Vegas (CBS) October 6, 2021

My high-school heart nearly exploded when learning of the return of CSI: Vegas with Gil Grissom (William Peterson) and Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox)! Our favorite investigator duo is recruited back to where it all began to help a new team of investigators reclaim the Crime Labs legacy and integrity. So grab some popcorn, curl up on the couch and solve some Sin City mysteries.

There’s Someone Inside Your House (Netflix) October 6, 2021

There’s no secret when the producers of “Stranger Things” and “The Conjuring” Universe collide, they will have created a new cult classic. A cult classic which gives the viewers a taste of 90’s horror nostalgia (I mean come on the main character’s name in Sydney) along with hints of satire from previous slasher favorites like, ‘Happy Death Day.’ This Netflix Original film will have you curled up and hiding behind your blankets.

Chucky (SYFY/USA Network) October 12, 2021

Spooky season would be bland if there was not a classic reboot of a horror film franchise. Yes, the creepy slasher doll from my nightmares is back and fans of the Chucky franchise are more than excited. While I will not be playing around with this reboot (because Chucky terrifies me), those that love this franchise will be ready for a slashing good time.
