The final season of Gotham will see Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) take the last steps towards becoming The Dark Knight, including facing off against Bane (Shane West), as Gotham City tries to build itself after its implosion last season.

76th Annual Golden Globes (NBC) January 6, 2019

The award show that honors the best in film and television. Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg are hosting this year’s ceremony where Roma, A Star Is Born, Black Panther and more face off for Best Drama.

The Bachelor (ABC) January 7, 2019

Colton Underwood will continue his journey to find love now as The Bachelor, dating 25 women to try and find the one. Tears, virginity talk and fence scaling will make up his rollercoaster season.

NEW: A Discovery Of Witches (Sundance Now) January 16, 2019

A Discovery of Witches tells the story of Diana Bishop (Teresa Palmer), a witch who finds herself at the heart of the hunt for an ancient magical text when all three supernatural species – witches, vampires and daemons – discover she’s found it. The world-building alone is enough of an incentive to keep you tuning in to A Discovery of Withes, but the love story between Diana and Matthew (Matthew Goode), her vampire ally, is what will have you completely hooked. The great news is that A Discovery of Witches has been renewed through Season 3, meaning we’ll get to see all three of the novels its based on adapted for this series.

The Magicians: Season 4 Premiere (Syfy) January 23, 2019

The Magicians, magic was finally restored by unlocking the fountain at the other end of the Wellspring, but the Library, Irene McAllistair and Dean Fogg swooped in to reroute magic to themselves. In exchange, Dean Fogg negotiated the lives of his students, erasing their memories and giving each – except Alice who is now imprisoned by the Library – a new, magic-free identity.

Even with their new identities, however the core group is far from safe since inside Castle Blackspire, an ancient, powerful and unkillable Monster escaped confinement and jumped bodies to a new host, Eliot.
