Arrow is back, or shall I say Green Arrow in his new suit, new attitude and a new villain that may takes him into darkness.

**Spoilers Below**

The episode started off in a suburban town with Oliver jogging through the neighborhood and returning home to Felicity cooking an omelette, trying to win the best girlfriend award. Unfortunately, her omelette did not meet Oliver’s standard, playfully critiquing her lack of cooking skills by saying, “You’re omelette has failed this kitchen.”

The scenes between the Oliver and Felicity were some of my favorite moments of the episode. However I could go on and on over Olicity [ship names for Oliver and Felicity together], but I want to highlight some other key moments of the episode.

John Diggle continues to struggle with trusting Oliver after the events that took place in season 3. To recap, Oliver kidnapped Lyla [his wife] and his young daughter to gain the trust of Ras’al Gul. Throughout the episode, Diggle fights with the idea of needing Oliver back in Star City. Layla explains to Diggle that Oliver had to make a choice, a hard one that she forgave. Later we see Diggle back to working with team Arrow during a showdown with the criminal organization H.I.V.E.

Speaking of H.I.V.E, looks like Officer Lance is working with the organization and with the commander Damien Darhk. Damien Darhk is a former member of the ‘League of Assassins‘, and rival to Ras’al Gul [whom was killed in the season 3 finale by Damien’s assistant]. Damien possesses the abilities of mysticism: telekinesis, manipulation and enhanced strength. Ras’al Gul mentioned that Damien had taken water from the pits of Lazarus when escaping the League of Assassins, which allows Damien to become immortal.

Which brings to a motive for Officer Lance to be working with the H.I.V.E., with Damien having the pits of Lazarus as his disposal. Seems like Damien has offered the resurrection to Sara Lance (sister to Laurel and known as the Canary). Just how far will Officer Lance go in order to fulfill the promise of Damien Darhk to bring his daughter back to life?

Lastly, lets talk about the bombshell the writers threw down at the end of the episode. Fans across the fandom squealed when Oliver showed his neighbors back at suburbia the engagement ring he got for Felicity. He was going to propose to her that same night, but was interrupted by the unannounced drop in by Laurel and Thea. Oliver placed the ring in a bowl of marbled rocks in the living room of their new home back at Star City, then one scene later we see Barry White [the Flash] and Oliver standing at a grave. Barry offers to help Oliver, in which he retorts with wanting to be alone.

Fans quick to speculate that the grave belongs to none other than, Felicity Smoak. Felcity had dated Barry White for a small amount of time. Making her former flame and her true love, mourning over her grave. I hope that is not the case, but sad nonetheless as we could be losing someone from Team Arrow.

What did you think about the episode? Do you think this will be the end of Felicity Smoak?
