Oliver Queen’s dark secrets are about to surface, but not if they get demolished before his Mayoral Debate.

Oliver Queen is on the campaign trail this episode, and looks like he has some competition in Mrs. Adams (Damian Darhk’s wife). Oliver has to draw the line between his alter ego (Green Arrow) and his personal life.  This can be a little daunting at times, especially if your Mayoral competition is also your enemy’s wife.

While digging for dark secrets in Oliver’s past that could come out during his Mayoral Debate, his sister Thea discovers a generous check to an unknown woman. Viewers know that the check was made out to Samantha Clayton  (Oliver’s former flame), who later revealed that she is pregnant with Oliver’s son. The check was intended to silence her. However, Oliver reaches out to her in the crossover episode (with The Flash series), where he meets William (his son for the first time). Later in the episode, Thea puts two and two together, and discovers William is in fact Oliver’s son. Oliver still has yet to tell Felicity of his son, and Thea encourages Oliver to tell the team. I get the feeling that when Felicity finds out about William, there will be some rough roads ahead for Olicity.

Olicity 

Felicity Smoak and Oliver Queen are planning their wedding. By planning that means, Felcity’s mother has overtaken the “Wedding Planner” position. This includes glitter bomb invitations, rows of balloon arches, feathers and “pin the junk on the hunk” bachelorette game. Easy to say that this is not what Felicity and Oliver had envisioned for their wedding. During their engagement party, Curtis gives the ultimate gift: he gives Felicity a built in microchip to cure her condition and have her walk down the aisle.

Darhk Family Affair

The Darhk family has one plan in mind, and that is to take out Oliver Queen at all cost. First, they start by taking out his wife’s Mayoral competition and kidnapping his son, William. However her plan fails and the Mayoral debate goes on as planned despite the threat of a demolition bomb to take down Oliver Queen. Now that Darhk has met Oliver’s son and set up a playdate with his own daughter, things are about to get very interesting for Oliver Queen.

Lance

Officer Lance is lured, by a fake call, into an abandoned building, which is quickly demolished while looking for suspects. This comes shortly after Laurel pays a visit to him and warns him that Damien Darhk may know he is working with Team Arrow despite his previous involvement with H.I.V.E.

Lance, in order to protect Donna Smoak (Felcity’s mother) from being Darhk’s collateral damage, decides to break off their relationship. This leaves Donna devastated and Officer Lance on edge to protect those he loves most.  Later on in the episode, Officer Lance confides the truth to Donna about his ties to H.I.V.E. They reconcile their relationship, but I get the feeling that, by Donna knowing the truth, this will leave her an easy target for Darhk’s agenda.
